1-9-25. I sat at the bar and had Denarda as my fine competent server. I went with my usual as was very pleased. I love this business. 10-29-24. Breakfast with my Dad. Missy was our delightful waitress. All staff were dressed in Halloween costumes. Very cool. Dad ordered an omelet with home frys and a scone. I went with an English muffin, scrambled eggs, home frys sausage links. Plenty of hot, very good coffee as well. I highly recommend
Our favorite place in Venice for breakfast. Food is always delicious! Service is top notch no matter who serves you and you get decent portions at a good price. The Word Fries are one of our favs!

Our friends recommended this little place for breakfast and it did not disappoint. My wife had the chicken salad sandwich and I had the amazing stuffed french toast. Wonderful wait staff and atmosphere. Do make note it is busy and be prepared to wait for your table but it is so worth it. We cannot wait to come back and eat again. 5 stars all around!
Really great experience. Tara was amazing at explaining menu items and options. The food was great size portions and amazing prices ! Service was great and food tasted amazing. We sat outside and it was beautiful and well kept. Getting out of the parking lot is very confusing and Google maps will have you goin in circles. Be advised if you aren’t familiar with the area.
Very sad that I didn't know about the Original Word of Mouth restaurant until today. What a fantastic experience for me, my wife and our friends. From the fantastic hostess Martina (her family owns it) to our gobble gobble waitress Patty (she wore turkey outfit), all the staff were friendly, efficient and caring. The main problem is deciding what to eat for breakfast because the menu has so many delicious choices, it's hard to pick. I highly recommend original Word of Mouth to anyone looking for a delicious breakfast at a fantastic family owned restaurant.
When you walk in, you instantly feel welcome. The space is bright and cheery, with a bit of a rustic vibe mixed in, and it just screams “breakfast.” Our waitress was very friendly and we were super impressed at how quickly the food came, especially for a group of 5! My group of friends ordered a variety of dishes, including the cinnamon crepes, quiche, Manhattan omelette, and cinnamon roll French toast. I ordered the pancakes and they were deliciously fluffy. We really enjoyed our meal and will definitely be back if we are in the area again!
First time visiting today. Our server Tara at the counter was a delight!! She didn’t even flinch when the two of us had six different hot/cold beverages. Great service from her and all the other staff. Seems like the staff is happy to work there which is always great to see. Our food was served quick and was so delicious, I was dancing in my seat! The smoothie of the day was yummy and I LOVED their homemade sourdough toast. We will definitely be back and bringing our guests who come to visit:) thank you Tara and all other staff for a wonderful experience.
